Credit Risk Supervisor

The role of Credit Risk Supervisor in Northamptonshire will consist loosely of the following duties and responsibilities:

• Supervising a small team which is responsible for order processing, credit assessments and fraud prevention.
• Investigating and analysing accounting information of prospective customers to assess credit worthiness - this will include detailed commentary of Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss accounts.
• Make decisions on credit limits, amendments to credit score card, aged debt, pro-forma payments etc.
• Liaising with sales ledger team, sales team and credit controllers regarding payments.
• Reporting KPI's to Credit Manager.
• Reporting all suspect fraud to the fraud analyst.
• Other ad hoc duties related to such a role in a Finance department.

The ideal candidate must have been working within a credit or fraud position previously, and have supervised a small team.

It is vital that you have knowledge of analysing and reporting on credit reports and on filed accounting information.

Preferably, qualified or working towards your ICM qualification.

Ability to work under pressure and be motivated to achieve individual and departmental targets.

Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.

My client is offering a salary circa £30,000 with additional benefits including free parking.

Study support for ICM (if required).

40 hour week.
