Our client is a large blue chip player, the commercial side of finance are looking at stream lining their financial reporting systems with regards to freight, stock and warehouse recharges. This is an exciting time to play a key role in a big organisation but maintain a wide variety of duties and get great exposure to commercial planning.
Description:
As part of a small team reporting into a Senior Business Analyst, you will assist in providing financial support for the business. This will involve partnering with specific area(s) of the business to provide both management accounts information and performance measurement. You will also constructively support the creation of and subsequent review of budgets/forecasts for these area(s) of the business. You will be heavily involved in the Month End process; reporting internally and to Head Office in the United States. Other responsibilities will include Balance Sheet reporting, analysis of Fixed Assets and Data Integrity projects. You will strive to help improve efficiencies and help deliver more robust processes.
Profile:
The right candidate will ideally be AAT Qualified or in the early stages of studying for a recognised accountancy qualification. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, being a team player but also excited about taking personal responsibly for areas of the business.
Advanced Excel Skills are essential with this position.
