Accounts Payable Clerk

London West End/WC • Permanent • £19000 - £22000

 

About our client:

The company is a US owned retail business with twenty stores in the UK and Europe.

Description:

Reporting into the Purchase Ledger Manager, the role involves:

  • Reviewing and processing expense invoices
  • Setting invoices up for payment
  • Preparing and processing wire transfers
  • Reconciliation of payments
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations
  • Monitoring accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Resolving invoice discrepancies
  • Corresponding with suppliers and managers and responding to inquiries
  • Assisting in month end closing

This is a solid Purchase Ledger role which will require someone who can multi task, deal with high volume queries and work well as a team.

Profile:

The only candidates who will be considered for this role must have the following:

  • Purchase Ledger experience from a RETAIL business
  • Experience of processing expenses
  • You must have excellent COMMUNICATION skills
  • You must have the ability to work within a HIGH VOLUME and FAST PACED environment
  • Experience of freight invoices

 

Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
