Description:
As the Mortgage Analysis Manager your role will be to lead and manage the Mortgage Risk Analysis Team in the production of analysis to uncover new insights within the mortgage portfolio- specifically with the aim of answering business question to helping to shape strategy. You will be part of the first line of defence for Risk Management which is lead by the Mortage Risk team who are responsible for the overall risk profile and credit quality of the entire mortgage portfolio. A pre-requisite for sound credit and fraud risk management is the need to deploy rigorous analytical capabilities to support the mortgages operating model. This role plays an important part in fulfilling the first line of defence responsible.
The role holder will:
- Structure quantitative analysis
- Plan, control and manager a range of critical analysis to meet business requirements
- Support the strategic aim of the MI and Analytics team
- Lead, motivate, develop and appraise team members as required
Profile:
In order to be successful for this role you must have:
- An excellent knowledge of consumer credit risk, risk systems, mortgage markets and industry regulations
- Expertise in concepts, principles and practises of credit risk analysis
- Collaborative stakeholder management- proven experience of developing and building relationships across functions.
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
