VAT Supervisor/ Assitant Manager

Our client is looking for an experienced VAT Supervisor or Assistant Manager to join their Northern Regions VAT team.  The role will involve face to face contact with clients, advising on VAT issues and VAT planning opportunities and will also involve supervision of staff   Principal duties: • Working face to face contact with clients (on site when required). • Advising on VAT issues.• Advising on VAT planning opportunities • Supervision of staff . • Working as part of the National VAT department in constant communication with both the National and International VAT teams    

 

• A competent VAT professional with previous VAT experience gained within a practice firm• The desire to work in a dynamic client-facing role; • Previous experience of supervising staff; • Ability to liaise confidently and efficiently with clients; • Ability to use initiative; • A team player; • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; • Good technical skills experience; • Ability to lead teams and motivate staff; • A self starter and persistent in the face of difficulties  Education / Qualifications: IIT preferable but not essential.
