Trainee Business Advisor

Purpose of the role Working both autonomously and as part of a team to deliver accounting and advisory services to a range of clients.  You will also study for and complete a professional accounting qualification with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).  Successful completion of the AAT qualification also offers the opportunity for further study towards Chartered status.  Applicants can be part qualified (or should be willing to undertake study towards) the AAT qualification. Principal duties• Prepare analysis of accounting data from clients books and records;• Involvement in the planning, execution and finalisation of the accounting assignment supporting the Senior or Manager;• Active adherence to budget and timetable, bringing matters to the attention of the senior or manager, particularly when actual time is in excess of budget;• Ensure compliance with internal and external (regulatory) requirements;• Develop and strengthen client relationships;• Carry out ad hoc assignments as may be reasonably required by your group;• Undertake any training or development co-ordinated by your group;• Participate in group, stream and firm wide activities.
