About our client:
My client is an international manufacturing business based in Peterborough. Due to staff promotion a position for an Assistant Management Accountant has become available.Description:
As the Assistant Management Accountant your primary focus will be analysing and reporting on stock. You will be expected to deal with sites within the UK and abroad as well as suppliers to resolve queries from the office in Peterborough.
Other areas of responsibility will include:
- Assist with budget & forecast
- Reconciliations
- Review of GNRI (Goods Received Not Invoiced)
- Assist with Balance Sheet Accounts.
Profile:
My client is looking for a candidate who is working towards gaining a professional qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA).
The personal characteristics that the successful candidate should have are:
- Analytical
- Detailed
- Strong excel
- Team player
- Based in Peterborough
- Confidence to challenge and improve processes in a professional manner.
You will also need exposure of the following accounting procedures:
- Purchase Ledger
- Stock
- General Accounts Administration
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
