Purchase Ledger Assistant

This Purchase Ledger role will involve you working as part of the Accounts Payable team and also assisting with expenses. You will be required to process mileage, credit cards and other expenses to deadlines. You will be provided with your own portfolio of clients and be expected to mange the payment process. You will also be required to make Bank payments at month end so a familiarity with Banking software would be advisable.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for an IT literate individual with a good working knowledge of Excel. A history within an Accounting environment and a thorough understanding of the Purchase Ledger and Expenses process is essential for this position. Ideally you will be studying towards your AAT qualification as this will be encouraged and supported. Although those whom are suitably qualified by experience will be equally considered for this exciting role within an excellent Cambridge institution.
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
