About our client:

My client is a well known organisation within the Transport sector.

Description:

Reporting to the Financial Accounts Team Leader your role as a Financial Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for maintaining the cashbooks for four companies accurately, providing banking and receipts detail to the finance team.

Key Accountabilities will include:

  • Creating and processing cash book journals for all bank transactions for four companies
  • Processing sales ledger receipts for matching by sales ledger
  • Dealing with any banking queries
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Coding and posting of intercompany transactions to nominal ledger
  • Reconciliation of intercompany cash receipts to ledgers
  • Production of Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Month end journal processing
  • Assisting Financial Accounts Team Leaders with weekly cash flow variance analysis and forecasting

Profile:

My client is looking for a candidate who will be comfortable performing the above duties. You must also be a competent Excel user and ideally be actively studying towards the AAT qualification or similar accountancy qualification.

Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.

What's on offer

A starting salary of between £18,000 and £20,000 + excellent benefits.
