About our client:
Our client is a specialist in the financial services sector
Description:
Making diary appointments; answering the Telephone; meeting and greeting clients; speaking and Dealing with Clients; opening the mail, date stamping and sorting; typing letters; scanning mail; updating the fund prices on the website; updating Client's units – monthly as well as quarterly and half yearly; chasing Scottish Mutual and Skandia for half yearly pension valuations (January and June); collating Quarterly Investment Valuations and Half Yearly Pensions; mail merging the letters and sending out; entering new clients plus plans on to the system; general administration for clients, sending off applications, chasing; proof-reading letters, proof-reading the Newsletter, Key Benefits, Portfolios etc; email management; Office Stationary/Office purchases; petty Cash – Obtaining cash from the Bank; send monthly petty cash sheet; franking machine postage and supplies plus stamps; organising events
Profile:
- Must have administration/secretarial experience within the financial services sector, preferably working for an investment/pensions company
- Happy to work in smaller company environment, where sometimes you will be the only person in the office at times
- Excellent organisational and administration abilities
- Professional customer service and telephone manner
- Ability to learn new skills and duties
- Strong numeracy
- Proficient and confident user of MS products
