About our client:
My client is a well known manufacturing organisation who is looking for a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join their successful Finance Team based in Peterborough.
Description:
This role will responsible for leading the Purchase Ledger team with a hands on approach. The main responsibilities are:
- Accurate and timely processing of a high volume of invoices
- Maintain good liaison with Purchasing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering and Sales Departments to ensure efficient authorisation and processing of invoices
- Maintain excellent relationships with Suppliers
- Conduct appraisals for team members
- Maintain and improve on all aspects of the Purchase Ledger.
Profile:
The successful candidate for this role will have:
- Excellent communication skills
- Will lead from the front and have a very hands on approach
- Thorough understanding of the functions and tasks carried out in running a Purchase Ledger Team
- Demonstrated this level of detail in previous Purchase Ledger Supervisor roles
- Thorough understanding of Cash Management.
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
