Team Assistant - Portfolio Management

City of London • Temporary - £16.00 per hour

 

About our client:

This well-known Investment Bank have brilliantly located office in the City of London - this role is supporting the Head of Portfolio Management and their team within Credit & Risk.

Description:

A Team Assistant position where you will be supporting the Head of Portfolio Management and his team - a great opportunity to join this Investment Bank.

Your duties will include:

  • Administrative/secretarial support to Portfolio Management
  • Diary management, e-mail management, presentations and telephone screening
  • Preparation of internal and external correspondence, collation and distribution of material
  • Maintain highly confidential files and records, including correspondence, budget and personnel documentation
  • Co-ordination of internal/external meeting bookings – 1:1 meetings. with Head of Risk & team members
  • Arrange conference/seminars, travel and accommodation, entertainment and courier services
  • Answer telephone calls, assist or redirect calls as appropriate
  • Coordinate & submit expenses for managers.
  • Assist team members as required with other routine and administrative matters
  • Maintain close working relationship with other areas
  • Maintain training & holiday system for staff
  • Maintain stationery supplies for area
  • Covering holiday/absence and willing to help out when necessary
  • General filing

 

 

Profile:

 My client is looking for their new Team Assistant to have the following experience and skills:

  • Experience of working in an Investment Banking
  • Microsoft Office and Outlook should be advanced
  • Ability to interact confidently at all levels
  • Proactive approach with limited need for direction or supervision
  • Ability to multi-task and manage ever changing and often conflicting priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • An awareness of departmental practice, procedures and workflow.
  • Exercise initiative in adapting and applying procedures to address problems
  • Previous experience in the area of Credit and Risk Management.
  • Ability to work effectively in an occasionally pressurised environment
  • Strength of character to push own ideas forward
