Graduate Sales Executive

Manchester • Permanent • £18000 - £28000

Description:

This role is a great opportunity for a candidate with a proven track record in sales that really want to join a business and develop their career. The first six months are hard work – predominantly office based calling contacts and growing you knowledge. Although the contacts are warm, it takes a while to develop your skills in this market. From there it’s about questioning and listening, understanding contacts needs, interpreting them and selling the appropriate solution.

 

6 months in, the role develops naturally to more face to face work, owning more relationships whilst still developing new ones, and allowing you to really grow your portfolio. Lead generation, conversion, delivery – you are given the whole sales process to manage.

 

The company promote training, feedback, coaching and personal development meaning that you are constantly aware of your targets, what needs to be achieved and how you are performing against them. This mean clarity of what you are trying to achieve and how you are progressing.

 

Profile:

This is about the ability to make an impact on the phone, capture the contacts interest, and then deliver the relevant solution. In order to do this, a track record in telesales or business development would be an advantage within a sales rather than customer service or inbound environment.

 

To be successful in this role, candidates will be bright and possess a high level of verbal dexterity and reasoning. Highly confident, you will possess an inbuilt desire to be successful and a willingness to make the commitment that being successful requires.
