This is a great time to become part of a team dedicated to providing comprehensive management and financial information for Group Executive Functions.
Duties Include;·
This will involve working closely with the Business Partners to get a firm understanding of the challenges that face my clients division.
Responsibility for the collection of appropriate data and create, maintain and improve financial models so that effective financial analysis takes place for Group Executive Functions (GEF), adding commentary to enhance understanding as appropriate.
Preparation of monthly MI pack for consolidated GEF's with narrative within specific deadlines.
Assist in the detailed preparation of clients heritage numbers.
Specifically take responsibility for the allocation processes each month, and monitor all under/over recoveries.
Assist in Financial Control, including the implementation of a SOX programme, preparation of balance sheet returns, audit of journals, and control over new spreadsheet processes.
Contribute to the consolidation and analysis of information for the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting process, compiling reports and cost information to provide a consolidated view of Group Executive Functions.
Working closely with the Business Partners, create a commentary that provides an understanding of the key themes.
Liaise with service providers concerning enhancements to computer systems and assist with user testing and implementation, ensuring changes are made to improve operational efficiency and to reflect future business requirements.
Specifically assist in the implementation of the Project Investment Reporting (PIR) project, which is to implement a one stop solution for project reporting.
Identify, recommend and implement agreed changes to financial processes to reflect business needs and operational requirements, communicating these across assigned area(s) of responsibility where appropriate.
Integrate, enhance and develop existing processes to ensure effective and efficient delivery of combined financial results.
Contribute to project initiatives, taking responsibility for the development and implementation of specific deliverables and ensuring these are achieved within the required time, cost and quality parameters.
Specifically, assist on the Cost Transfer Charging (CTC) Project to identify a solution to allocating central costs out to the divisions.
Profile:
Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, CA)
Track record of financial services
A strong team player
Commercially minded Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build excellent working relationships
Proven planning and organisational skills
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
