A blue chip, multi national organisation which is a market leader in their field.
Description:
This role is a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave and will be based within a current team of 4 people. The main responsibilities of the role are:
- Support Operations staff with set up of accounts to correctly generate revenue and margin.
- Liaise with other departments to increase understanding of set up and revenue recognition.
- Preparation of reports for both UK and Corporate Finance Senior Management.
- Review monthly gross margin results and understand budget variances.
- SOX compliance and audit queries.
Profile:
To qualify for this role it is essential that you are an advanced Excel user and are fully competent in the creation of V-lookups, pivots etc. Along with this you need to have a solid understanding of ERP Systems (including JD Edwards, Oracle and SAP).
It is crucial that you have previous experience of working within a large corporate finance department. You must have an analytical mind set with the ability to manipulate, interpret and report on large volumes of data.
