Purchase Ledger Clerk

Stockport • Permanent • £17000 - £18000

 

About our client:

Our client is a leading name in the leisure industry with branches throughout the country who pride themselves on quality and customer service.

Description:

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk your duties will include:

  • Matching and batching of invoices
  • Price and discount reconciliations
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Weekly and monthly payments by cheques and BACs
  • Resolving queries
  • Weekly cash flow

Profile:

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a proven background in a previous Purchase Ledger position
  • Have a  working knowledge of full accounts payable procedures
  • Be able to handle electronic payments
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be able to work well as part of a team
  • Have strong IT skills with good knowledge of SAP

Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
