Payments Clerk

Leeds • Permanent • £16000 - £17000

The main duties synonymous with the role of Payments Clerk in the Leeds Financial Service Sector are:

  • Manage a portfolio of Client areas, department or units
  • Prepare Payments on BACS, Chaps and Cheques
  • High value and high volume payments
  • Daily Payments
  • Reconcile Multi-currency Accounts
  • Liaise with Department Heads
  • Query resolution

Who we're looking for

The background required for the Payments Clerks is;

  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent Academics
  • Studying AAT or equivalent
  • Previous knowledge of high value payments

Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
