Service Charge Accounts Supervisor

To maximise service charge income and recover all costs and deliver high quality standards to leaseholders and tenants.

• Implement service charge setting process and ensure increases are in line with policy and statutory requirements
• Produce annual service charge budgets, liaising with operational departments,  ensuring full recovery of service charge costs and the maximisation of service charge  income
• Produce monthly service charge scheme accounts and investigate variances in income and expenditure taking appropriate action where required 
• Ensure service charge expenditure is coded to correct ledger account 
• Ensure all income receivable has been invoiced / collected where applicable including ground rents and service charges
• Manage and set up new scheme codes in SUN accounts
• Review and set new service charge budgets for schemes handed over from development to management and ensure that procedures have been followed and set up properly in the rents (Northgate) and accounting(SUN) systems
• Undertake Balance sheet reconciliations of service charge ledger accounts
• Prepare Sinking funds banks reconciliations and initiate transfers in accordance with legislation and policy
• Produce statement of accounts for year end statutory requirements  

Who we're looking for

All candidates must have significant and demonstrable experience in Service Charge Accounting and Supervision.

Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
