Cost Accountant

The role of Cost Accountant consists of the following duties:
- Analysis of costs, pricing and margins, and subsequent reporting of findings to the Financial Director and Board members;
- Responsible for generating spreadsheets to track the Purchase Order to Invoice process, standard cost variances to actual, and capturing costs such as freight, duty etc
- Intercompany accounting and recharges;
- Assisting with all monthly Management Accounts;
- Reconciling Balance Sheet accounts;
- Liaise constantly with purchasing and the warehouse.
Who we're looking for
Advanced Excel skills would be beneficial whilst Sage knowledge would be helpful. Strong systems experience is a must.
Strong analytical skills and management accounting knowledge.
Commercial knowledge would be beneficial.
CIMA or ACCA part-qualified is preferred.
Be able to really integrate themselves into the company and add value to the Finance team.
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
