Description:

Reporting into the Head of Credit & Collections you will be instrumental in managing the Collection process to maximise the working capital whilst maintaining customer relationships. This is a B2B role working with UK customers. The scope of the role will include: 
  • Managing, leading, developing and motivating a large team of Credit Controllers
  • Set targets and KPI’s for the Collections Team to ensure maximum performance
  • Clear focus and strategy on recovering outstanding debt and reducing DSO
  • Proactively support all business areas by seeking innovative solutions
  • Develop management reporting and statistical analysis of collection models
  • Provide assistance and recommendations for improving credit policies, processes and procedures
  • Ensure effective query resolution to maximise collection potential

Profile:

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a proven track record within a high volume collections environment and must have previous exposure of managing a large team within this area. You must have the ability to manage a team through a period of change whilst ensuring consistent delivery of results. Highly developed communication skills are essential in order to liaise with internal customers across various different departments throughout the business and establish customer relationships. The successful candidate will like a challenge and be able to maintain a sense of humour.

You must be a member of the ICM in order for your application to be considered and preferably educated to degree standard. Good problem solving skills, the ability to identify risk to the business and excellent organisational skills are a prerequisite. This is an excellent opportunity to take full control of the department, implementing and improving standard working practices.
