Sales and Purchase Ledger Clerk

The role as Sales and Purchase Ledger Clerk in Slough will report directly to the UK Financial Controller and will involve the following:

  • Inputting sales contracts into Oracle Financials system
  • Ensuring sales/debtors reports are accurately maintained
  • Ad hoc raising of sales ledger invoices
  • Daily posting of cash receipts
  • Assisting with pricing increases
  • Updating customer information on US sales portal
  • Coding, matching and posting of purchase ledger invoices
  • Payment runs
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Ad hoc holiday cover for other members of the accounts team

Who we're looking for

We are looking for candidates with the following:

  • Oracle Financials experience
  • Strong level of excel
  • Previous working knowledge in Sales or Purchase ledger
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High level of accuracy and numeracy
  • Proactive approach

Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
