Financial (Site) Controller

Main duties of the role are:
- Manage finance for the company operations
- Set and maintain standard costs for all products produced at the site
- Analyse and report factory variances
- Prepare monthly accounts and management information pack for the company operations
- Report monthly factory P&L and Balance sheet to Flooring Divisional finance
- Prepare annual budgets and forecasts
- Maintain fixed asset register for the site
- Liaise with the companies central accounting on matters such as processing of purchase invoices and payroll
- Advise and assist Operations management as appropriate
- Prepare Capital Expenditure Requests
- Cost control and reporting on capital projects
- Prepare Intrastat and EC sales reports
- Stock control
- Review and implementation of internal controls as required
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will:
- Ideally part qualified accountant but will consider qualified by experience
- Minimum three years exposure of manufacturing accounting including standard costing
- ERP systems knowledge preferably SAP, system integration would be an advantage
- Strong excel skills
It is very important that you have the ability to work with all levels of staff within a very pressurised and demanding environment.
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
