European Country Controller

The primary function of the European Country Controller is to manage the accounting function for a specified territory within the Europe and Middle East Region, providing accounting support to local management and reporting on those territories' activities in accordance with group standards and local requirements.

The key responsible will be the following:

  • Ensure reliable and timely ledgers
  • Cash Management
  • Performance Reporting and Support
  • Planning & Compliance

Who we're looking for

Knowledge of IFRS is advantageous and experience of accounting and reporting in a European country other than the UK is preferred.

The successful candidate will have the ability to interact with external advisors located in country, such as accountants/auditors and tax advisers.

Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.

My client has grown rapidly through organic growth and acquisition. The expansion strategy will continue as my client looks to develop new markets and sectors that will benefit from greater automation and control.

Due to these exciting expansion plans my client is looking to recruit a European Country Controller.
