• Day to day accounting/controlling

• Preparation of forms for managements

• Monthly Management Accounts Consolidation

• Balance sheet/ P&L

• Frango preparation forms

• Frango Reporting (monthly, quarterly and budget)

• Intercompany reconciliations and reporting

• Liaise with Auditors

• Liaising with Barclays Bank

• Part of Cash Netting and IC payments and journals

• Overseeing credit control

• Wholegoods Order Authorisation

• Pensions

• Salaries / PAYE payments

• VAT Returns, EC Sales Lists & deferent A/c's

• Preparation of Corporation Tax Information & Payment

• Monthly RSM Commission Information

• Parts analysis for salary

• Fixed Asset Requisitions

• Liaise with sales support re stock checking and reconciliation

• Sales/Purchase & nominal month end routines AEL/AUK

• IC Statement Recs

• Bacs run pymt AUK

• Journals inc Accruals/prepayments

• Contras

• TB analysis,nominal dump/suspense etc

• Fuel invoices

• reconciliation between AEL/AUK

• Bank rec AUK

• Petty Cash

• Year end routines

• Ad-hoc

Who we're looking for

My client is looking for a Financial Controller / Accountant who has the ability to

• Be able to use there own initiative
• Bring confidence and leadership
• Cognos experience (Must)
• Ability to supervise 2 members of staff

Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
