Payroll Clerk

Halifax • Temporary - £8.00 per hour

 

Description:

Duties will entail:

  • Ensuring all employees files are maintained and kept up to date
  • Inputting of time sheets
  • Processing new starters, amendments and leavers
  • Maintaining SMP and SSP records, maternity pay and Student Loans
  • Maintaining historical records
  • Maintaining current filing system
  • Dealing with queries from employees
  • Corresponding with Inland Revenue , DSS and any other bodies.

Profile:

We are looking for candidates with a strong working background in Payroll/HR who can work unsupervised and are familiar with payroll functions. Particularly interested in hearing from candidates with working knowledge of Oracle systems.

Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
