About our client:
My client are a worldwide pharmaceutical company based in central Cambridge and are looking for accounts cover for 12 months within there Finance team.Description:
- Responsible for the review of monthly management accounts and timely issue
- Action/provide cover for any queries arising following the issue of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of monthly cost of sales
- Assist with annual update of product standard costs in our Oracle database
- Preparation of budgets and 5 year plans for revenue expenditure
- Monthly reconciliation of our inventory levels to our financial records
- Purchase Price Variance reporting to Procurement Managers
- Ensure transfer pricing documentation is up-to-date, including annual review of departmental allocations such as Engineering
- Production yield reporting.
- Assist with migration of data from our consolidated accounting records to our deconsolidated accounting system during 2009.
Profile:
For this Management Accountant role within a large Finance team you will suit in this role if:
- You must be a finalist in either ACCA/CIMA!!!
- You can deliver high quality financial support to the business to aid decision making
- Produce annual revenue Budget Reviews for Production and Quality
- Advanced excel skills
- Have a working knowledge of oracle
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
