Based in Bristol, our public sector client is supported financially by central government funding and provides support for various projects locally, nationally and internationally. Working as part of the finance team within a variety of projects, scope for career progression is endless.
Description:
The role as a Project Accountant will involve working on differing projects operating at a level between Finance Managers and Project Managers and having the ability to communicate financial data to people at all levels within each project. Essentially tasks within projects will include:
- Dealing with Budgets and Forecasts
- Discussing and analysing Accrual Positions with Project Managers
- Consistently monitoring costs across the projects and reporting to both non-finance and finance personnel within project teams
- Financial reporting & General Project Accounting
Profile:
The successful Project Accountant will need to posses the following attributes:
- Must be able to work cohesively within project teams
- Excellent communication, explanatory & interpersonal Skills
- Analytical and Influential skills
- Must be able to communicate with different levels of staff appropriately
- Strong Excel Skills
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
What's on offer
A basic salary of up to £28,000 is available and an employer contributory pension scheme and excellent on site facilities.
