This Healthcare company are part of the NHS and based within the larger framework of an establish hospital in Southampton.
Description:
This Clinical Coder position is a detail focussed with a variety of duties. These will include analysing and interpreting complex information including conditions, treatments and clinical case notes using agreed classifications and codes - ICD10 and OPCS 4.
Other areas of this role are liaising with clinicians, prioritising own work-load, working to coding targets and providing relevant information to different areas of the business.
The location of this position in Southampton, commutable by bus & train with cheap parking on site.
Profile:
The right candidate for this Clinical Coder position will have the following skills:
1). Keen understanding of medical/health terminology and anatomy, having been a Clinical Coder in a previous / current role2). Desire to learn 3). Precise attention to detail - methodical4). Ability to manage own workload5). Ability to work under pressure and adhere to set deadlines
Applicants also need to ensure they are within commutable distance of central Southampton.
