HR Assistant (Fee Earners)

Assist the HR Manager & Senior HR Adviser with recruitment co-ordination e.g. interview organisation, liaise with agencies/candidates re: start dates etcPrepare recruitment correspondence e.g. offer letters • Help to co-ordinate national and international recruitment campaigns • Ensure all applicants CVs are logged on the recruitment database • Manage all internal processes associated with recruitment e.g. update recruitment database as required, send out correspondence to unsuccessful candidates, process invoices include the reimbursement of candidates interview expenses, archive files etc • Liaise directly with partners, secretaries and agencies to arrange interview times and make the necessary arrangements for interviews (eg arranging video conference facilities, preparing and sending papers to partners)• Prepare campaign interview packs for partners

 

• Produce offer of employment packs• Liaise with HR Manager/Senior HR Adviser and line managers about start dates; • Input new joiner data onto HR.net database• Deal with any queries raised by new joiners• Ensure induction packs are up to date and there is a sufficient supply. • Provide administrative support to all members of the HR team, across all areas of the generalist function including recruitment and employee relations administration • Provide cover to the other HR Administrators in the team • Ensure standard documentation is kept up to date • Manage queries by telephone and email • Deal with general correspondence • Record of absence data on HR.net for business units and dealing with general absence queries • Arrange meetings on request, including booking rooms, arranging catering and equipment • Deal with contract administration i.e. extension of fixed term contracts, probationary periods, variation of contract, temporary to permanent • Deal with appraisal administration i.e. liaise with team leaders, record and monitor completion of appraisals, update spreadsheets etc • Deal with the maternity administrative process including sending correspondence, and updating spreadsheets • Deal with general benefit queries regarding pensions, gym membership and healthcare

 

Who we're looking for

  • Graduate Calibre.
  • Previous HR experience in a professional services environment (essential).
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
