Human Capital Development Co-Ordinator

This Human Capital Development Coordinator will be responsible and accountable for developing and implementing a wider, more comprehensive HCD service within a delegated area in aspects of HR including, recruitment; providing advice and support to managers and team members; developing and implementing company HCD policies and procedures; developing, implementing and fully supporting organisational change initiatives and strategies and providing legal advice on employment matters. ·     Provide guidance and support to the company’s managers and help address complex and/or sensitive human resources issues with those managers when they arise·     Responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s HCD’s policies and procedures·     Arrange, attend and participate in interviews, disciplinary and grievance hearings as required, as well as representing at Employment Tribunals if required·     Support the implementation of organisational change including structural, cultural and/or business planning changes within the organisation ·     Produce and revise job descriptions and person specifications, as well as undertaking evaluation of posts·     Support the development of new business by helping to identify and cost the human resource implications·     Assist the HCD Manager in preparing budgets for HCD activities and for ensuring the proper control of expenditure and adherence to agreed budgets within the framework of the company’s financial regulations and standing orders·     Forge links with external organisations including recruitment agencies and advertising channels to negotiate and provide best practice service in a cost effective way·     Work closely with the HCD Manager and other HCD team members to introduce new initiatives, Policies and procedures·     Advise and take appropriate action in order to maintain and uphold high standards of conduct·     Maintain, on a timely basis, records which appertain to your particular function and area

Who we're looking for

The ideal candidate for this role will have proven experience of working within a generalist HR role and experience of developing and implementing new HR practices, including but not limited to HR policies and procedures. You will be part or fully CIPD qualified and have the ability to demonstrate active ability in a wide range of HR activities, including contracts of employment, disciplinary/grievance, absence management, change management, recruitment & selection. You will have a robust up to date knowledge of employment law in a range of different areas.
