The key objective of this position is to maximise cash collection from Family Mosaic's tenants. This will be achieved through sending out monthly rent statements, working with the tenants and other departments to prevent rent arrears debts from building up. In addition to this, the role will see you arranging welfare benefit advice and debt counselling services as needed and setting up repayment agreements. Where necessary legal action will need to be commenced and you may be required to attend County Court on occasion. Recommendations for write off will need to be made where appropriate and reports compiled for the management team.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for an individual who has a proven ability to successfully work as part of a team and is capable of meeting targets and deadlines. You should have previous exposure to a debt chasing environment and have a good level of technical awareness regarding collection procedures, and ideally landlord/tenant legislation. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential skills for this role.
