DFK International Head Office is looking to add to their small ( 3 others) but efficient team by recruiting a Book Keeper/Administrator. This part time role is based in Russell Square, London WC. This is a specialist role working in an environment which is friendly, supportive but focussed and the individual selected will be expected to work independently. The role is part time (3 days per week) though may expand to full time. There is a degree of flexibility possible over the actual days to be worked.
Main tasks will include:
- Maintaining the accounts of the association
- Administer payroll and pension fund payments
- Distribute invoices and statements
- To communicate with members on issues and statements as required
- Pay creditors
- Administer banking arrangements
- Draft annual budget
- Circulate and administer referral records
- Collect and collate World Survey and Partner Headcount data (annually)
- Submit statistical information for accounting journal surveys
- Maintenance of Network Firm register and database
- Any other ad hoc functions as and when required
Who we're looking for
The role would suit a trustworthy applicant who has a steady background in a similar role. They will have sound team skills but able to work independently and at times alone. A background in preparing books of accounts is essential, along with having strong organisational skills.
- The ideal candidate will also be computer literate and have prior knowledge of Sage Line 50, MS Word & Excel and ideally Powerpoint.
- They will also be able to use databases and be well organised with strong attention to detail
- They will have excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- They will be able to work independently but also as a team player

What's on offer
A competitive salary is on offer, between £33,000 and £40,000 pro rata.
