Business Analyst

Reporting to the Accounts Manager you will be responsible for:
- Profitability analysis to influence strategic business decisions.
- Financial modelling that acts as a support mechanism to senior management.
- Provision of business MI (both financial and where applicable operational) including weekly reports.
- Assisting with preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Explaining variances to budgets.
Who we're looking for
The successful applicant will posses the following qualities:
- Proven ability to dig into detail and provide high end analysis work.
- Strong Excel and Access capability and experience of developing complex models.
- Ability to use own initiative, to be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to prioritise workloads.
- Developed communication skills to enable you to explain your findings to both financial and non financial managers.
- Consistent record of academic achievement.
- The ideal would be a part qualified CIMA/late stage accountancy studier, although not essential.
