Finance Team Leaders

The successful candidates will be required to undertake the following duties:-

  • Manage team resources to meet and exceed targets
  • Monitor and maximise each individuals performance and to carries out monthly performance reviews
  • Train and develop all staff
  • Handle complex and unusual tasks, providing an escalation point for administrators
  • Proactively seek to improve processes, systems etc.
  • Maximise quality, performance and customer satisfaction
  • Record and report performance against agreed standards
  • Constantly seek ways to improve quality and standards of work and employees
  • Assist Managers to lead, drive and implement projects, operational reviews and initiatives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal departments to ensure feedback on service levels and process etc improvement
  • Develop relationships with support departments to ensure the appropriate service is provided for the team
  • Ensure consistency of approach across all teams and positively promote the image of the Financial Operations department
  • To balance workloads and agree daily working arrangements of team (including overtime requirements)

Who we're looking for

Ideally candidates will have:-

  • Relevant experience of successful management of a finance team
  • A real team player with a motivating and friendly manner 
  • High level of technical knowledge and experience of working within the area of specialisation
  • Competent IT skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to organise own and others work
  • Proven ability of having to work with and understand a variety of systems and/or processes
  • Strong (oral and written) communication and financial administration skills

Fluent Dutch speakers would be advantageous, but not essential
