Responsible to the Chief Accountant and supervising 2 members of staff your main duties will be:

• Financial and Management Accounting
• Treasury management
• Fixed Asset accounting 
• Systems development
• Stock accounting
• Job costing
• Supporting cost centre managers in monthly forecasting process
• Support Chief Accountant in the Financial Management of the Headquarters budget
• Supervision of the invoicing and reporting process

Who we're looking for

The successful candidate will have a genuine desire to work for the Royal Hospital Chelsea, and be sympathetic to the Pensioners themselves.

Of Finalist level ACA/ACCA/CIMA with excellent exposure or working knowledge of all of the duties listed above.

A high level of computer literacy is required. Specifically the ability to design reports using databases & spreadsheets. A working knowledge of the Exchequer accounting package is also desired.
