Group Financial Controller

You will primarily be responsible for:
- Managing a small group finance function with six direct reports.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Assisting in preparation of annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts for group.
- Implementing new systems procedures and controls.
- Production of year end reporting packs and liaison with group’s external auditors.
- Preparation of VAT returns, PAYE and other statutory and non statutory returns.
- Treasury function - cash management, reporting and forecasting, dealing with group’s bankers and other asset finance providers.
- Control and protection of group assets.
- Ad-hoc reporting.
Additionally you will be expected to occasionally travel to other UK locations for analysis and reporting purposes.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for highly commercially aware candidate with a background in a similar role. You must poses advanced management and financial accounting skills and be an advanced Excel user. A background in a similar industry would be beneficial but is by no means essential.
