This Accounts Manager vacancy is a vital position within Denvir and it is a stand alone role which is pivotal to the ongoing success of this dynamic organisation. The role reports to the Finance Director and Managing Director.
The role principally involves three parts;
1. Day to day financial administration to support the Finance Directors’s financial management
2. Day to day financial and general office management
3. HR administration
Key Areas of Responsibility;
- Management of accounting systems up to trial balance level
- Preparing Management Reports for the Finance Director
- Efficient purchase ledger management
- Efficient sales ledger
- Cash recovery and credit control in line with company targets
- Bank reconciliation
- Payroll
- Administer payment runs including BACs/cheque and petty cash
- Statement reconciliations
- Managing the internal PO system
- Negotiating and managing efficient cost control of general office expenses
- Maintaining accurate HR processing and records
- Managing and administering accurate Holiday and Absence records
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate be fully aware of implications of financial management, be risk aware on behalf of Denvir and provide appropriate early-warning to the Finance Director. Utilise effective communication skills to build internal, client and supplier relationships in order to enhance Denvir’s operational performance.
Key competencies required;
- Excellent book-keeping and accounts management skills
- Relationship focussed credit control skills including comprehensive cash management experience
- Exceptionally strong communication skills
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Negotiation Skills, Commercial, Numerical, Planning and Organisation, Customer Focus,
- Ability to manage own workload and self motivation skills
- Commitment to the achievement of results
Experience of the quickbooks software package would be advantageous
