- Ensure transactions processed into company's books.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls
- Ensure reconciliation of control accounts are prepared
- Ensure reconciling items are cleared on a timely basis
- Review accounts for completeness
- Preparation of monthly financial accounts, analysis of actuals vs budget
- Depot queries
- Business support for production of management accounts
- Developing efficient processes to capture and process cost information
- Prepare information for review of reserves
- Prepare P11D return data
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Provide information for preparation of statutory accounts
- Preparation of National Statistics
- Bill 198 compliance
- Working on various MOVEX process issues
- Ad hoc duties.
Who we're looking for
You will be a QBE/Part Qualified Accountant, preferably ACCA. You will be comfortable handling a divisional £200m T/O, £270m assets and approx 150 depots. You will have strong IT skills (Excel/Movex/ERP) and strong analytical skills.
