Credit Controllers

TULIP are looking for Credit Controllers to work in their new head Office based in Warwick / Leamington. In this role you would be responsible for the Control and maintenance of Customer Accounts.

  • Contact customers regularly to follow up due and overdue accounts and maintain record of action taken.
  • Ensure credit limits remain within agreed customer terms, referring anomalies to GCM when limits are exceeded. 
  • Examine credit held orders on the system and release orders if appropriate.
  • Daily Cash & prepare daily cash sheets from the cheques received and daily bank download.
  • Ensure all claims are entered onto SAP dispute management system.
  • Quantity claims.
  • Ensure that manual debits and credits are raised within 1 day of authorisation.
  • Ensure that all price queries are dealt with immediately.
  • Ensure that all deductions which relate to purchase ledger items are chased for authorisation and cleared off the ledger in a timely manner.
  • Ensure invoices are sent out daily. 
  • Monitor EDI invoice rejections.
  • New account opening
  • Ensure monthly statements are always sent to customers by the 5th of the month, or as required by the customer.

 

Who we're looking for

Suitable candidates must have the following:- 

  • Have experience of working in a credit control department and have a clear understanding of the invoice process and cash allocation.
  • Assertive telephone technique and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to communicate internally and externally at all levels.
  • Excellent keyboard skills.
  • Ability to work to targets.
  • Ability to plan/organise own workload.
  • Good approach to teamwork and the ability to deal with an ever-changing environment. 
  • Have a genuine desire to work in Credit Control.

In August 2008 Tulip Limited will be opening their UK head Office in Warwick. As a result of this they are recruiting a New Credit Control department to be based in Warwick

What's on offer

Basic Salaries up to £25,000 depending on experience and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. Each successful candidate will have SAP training and on going credit control training.
