Job Description

  • Confident man manager with the ability to drive KPI's and install warehouse processes according to SLA's.
  • Setup layout & space management; work organisation chart; procedures such as SOP, 5S.
  • Manage stock control: storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods; shipment loading & transferring; document recording and data entry into system.
  • Planning, Organising and Controlling of Warehouse
  • Constantly plan out all warehouse resources and activities in relation to company objectives and set targets.
  • Make plans to develop staff in the warehouse by internal/on-job training.
  • Ensure that workplace's health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock.
  • Maintain housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding area.
  • Issue Inventory report, IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, goods age report.
  • Implement cost reduction principle in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities.
  • Creation of daily work logs
  • Improvement & development of warehouse.
  • Oversee planned maintenance of equipment
  • On occasion visit customers to monitor quality of product being received.
  • To ensure that Re-Pack product maintains sufficient stock levels
  • Ensure that the Warehouse team have Operator Licence Awareness training, I.e. loading of vehicles safely etc.
  • Ensure that all Fork Lift Licences are up to date and refresher training given regularly.
  • Plus any other duties that may be required from time to time in line with business needs.

The Successful Applicant

  • Hands on Man Manager.
  • To drive KPI's and install warehouse processes.
  • The ability to communicate with confidence and build respect.
  • In depth knowledge of current industry warehouse functions and practices.
  • Able to operate powered material handling equipment.
  • Have desktop PC experience.
  • Able to analyse all types of inventory reports.
  • Basic knowledge of generic stock replenishment and monthly inventory reporting.
  • Able to identify inventory material.
  • Flexibility, work schedule and procedures.
