About Our Client

Our client is a well established national organisation based in Swindon looking for a Systems Accountant on a 6 month contract.

Job Description

  • Support, maintain and develop the Financial Systems
  • Write and maintain Financial Systems reports
  • Lead Financial Systems development projects
  • Assist in the implementation of software releases.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of systems support documentation.
  • Participate in system development projects, both IT and non-IT with financial implications.
  • Maintain user access to the Financial systems.

The Successful Applicant

  • Relevant accounting experience
  • Experience of working with, developing and supporting Financial systems
  • Systems report writing skills
  • Knowledge of the interrogation/manipulation of databases (ideally MS SQL)
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Highly computer literate
