Job Description

The Soft services manager will be responsible for:

  • Cleaning (core, variable tenant requests and events/exhibitions)
  • Washroom ( public and non-public)
  • Porterage
  • Window Cleaning
  • Post room
  • Waste Management
  • Pest Control
  • Health & Safety

As well as managing the performance of all staff, financial budgeting and HR including recruitment, disciplines and staff engagement

The Successful Applicant

An ideal Soft Services Manager will have:

  • Experience in cleaning, waste management and front of house
  • IOSH qualified
  • Previous experience of managing personnel
  • Competence in financial management of a comparable budget
  • Ability to meet key performance indicators consistently


  • Experience working in a historic or heritage environment
  • NEBOSH qualified
  • Experience with the management or support to exhibitions and events
