About Our Client

A large organisation with several branches across the UK. The role is working within a small office of 10 employees and the successful applicant will be required to support the sales team, senior directors as well as take on Office Management duties and responsibilities.

Job Description

  • Oversee branch administration
  • Responsible for Sales Administrator, including day to day delegation and all training.
  • Administration including weekly, monthly and quarterly audits.
  • Stock management including ordering.
  • Day-to-day communication with customers and suppliers via telephone, email and facsimile.
  • Provide Proof of Purchase, copy invoices, credit and debit notes, etc.
  • Creating and maintaining customer and supplier records.
  • Updating pricing matrices.
  • Updating sales performance graphs and charts.
  • Taking and producing minutes or actions at meetings.
  • Production of month end reports and statistics.
  • Purchase order processing in SAP.
  • Sales order processing in SAP.
  • Post in/out.
  • Deal with requests for samples or literature.
  • Credit card transactions/transax cheque clearance.
  • Maintaining holiday and absence records.
  • Ensuring that all areas of the sale office are neat and tidy.
  • Observe all aspects of Health and Safety within the sales and warehouse environment.
  • To carry out any other administrative duties as requested.
  • Dealing with customer complaints and ensuring these are logged and rectified

The Successful Applicant

Candidates will be required to complete a psychometric test prior to progressing through to second stage interview

The successful applicant must have good, Strong administrative skills ideally within a sales admin / purchasing background.The successful candidate will be required to support the sales team and senior management and attend weekly / monthly meetings and ideally have worked in a similar environment.

  • Ability to manage a varied task sometimes under tight deadlines
  • Candidates must be willing to sometimes work outside of their core hours to support the branch's opening hours
