About Our Client

Our client is a well-known and growing business looking to add a Senior Pricing Analyst to their Accountancy team based in Redhill

Job Description

  • To be able to manage large and complex data sets to ensure the data required for pricing on a monthly basis is accurate and at low risk of incorrect billing.
  • Maintain and manage accurate pricing data for specific large multi-site customers.
  • To successfully price the flexible portfolio within the time agreed SLAs. To minimise any re-bill activity by working with close attention to the detail of each contract. To look for, plan and execute any efficiency gains that can be made within our day to day processes.
  • To respond to all aspects of pricing queries from customers within the required timeframe to ensure billing activity is not negatively affected, providing clear and concise explanations. To develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Providing proactive support for Sales and Servicing for all pricing queries and issues; to communicate issues as they arise and look for the root cause of any issues to make suggestions for improvements.
  • Maintain a strong commercial awareness including an awareness of the industry and business.

The Successful Applicant

  • Working as part of the Pricing team, within the Economics department. Based in the office with some requirement to travel as needed
  • Previous experience as a Senior Pricing analyst is desirable but not essential

  • To work and cooperate as part of a team which is responsible for the management of charging data and pricing analysis, ensuring timely and accurate pricing.

  • To offer practical solutions and improvements to pricing scenarios as the business evolves

  • Graduate calibre

  • Proficient in use of MS Access & Excel is desired and knowledge of SQL preferred

  • Economics or scientific discipline preferred

  • Knowledge of electricity markets desired

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
