Our client is a well known local business looking to add a Senior Payroll Administrator for a minimum of three months to their Accountancy team

Job Description

Our client is looking for a Senior Payroll Administrator to join their Accountancy team in Horsham

  • Ensure that all Group payroll activities and processing are performed in accordance with Group Policies and procedures, legislation, Revenue dispensations, Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and best practice at all times
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the Payroll system and Procedures Manual
  • Work closely with the other HR Team members to ensure payroll matters are handled accurately, promptly and efficiently
  • Provide advice and guidance on payroll related matters to members of the HR team
  • Assist with identified process improvements and contribute ideas which may improve the Payroll and HR Administration performance and/or extend its capability
  • Ensure duty of care of all HR information, in particular with reference to the Data Protection Act and Freedom of Information Act.
  • Responsible for personal continuing professional development and adhering to the recognised Payroll / HR standards
  • Keep up to date with best practice and legislation as appropriate to the post and to pro-actively share this information with colleagues
  • Maintain an accurate and up to date filing system

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will have experience with the above & be on short notice
