Job Description

  • Building and communicating a team vision linking individual contribution to the regional vision.
  • Identifying and full involvement with the hiring of new talent.
  • Creating and reinforcing a positive, sales-based team environment.
  • Embedding best practice recruitment skills.
  • Delivering team and Talent Development training sessions.
  • Managing the performance for each team member including: setting KPIs, conducting 121 daily/weekly reviews, holding team meetings and offering relevant incentives.
  • Identifying and closing skill gaps on an ongoing basis for each team member.
  • Coaching and developing consultants towards self-sufficiency.
  • Understanding each team member's motivations and career aspirations.
  • Delegating in a responsible and controlled manner.
  • Leading by example in behaviours and values - a role model to all colleagues.
  • Taking responsibility for self-development by seeking and acting on feedback from colleagues at all levels.
  • Knowing and understanding monthly, quarterly and annual budgets and setting stretch targets.
  • Ensuring the team is compliant with both internal and external regulations.

The Successful Applicant

  • You will already be a Manager, ideally with experience recruiting into the secretarial market.
  • You will enjoy managing large and busy teams and have extensive training and developing consultants throughout their career.
  • You must have a background in a recruitment consultancy recruiting into Business and Professional services or similar industries.
  • You will be a highly skilled with a proven track record in managing consultants and delivering revenue.
  • You will be looking to move your career forward and have the drive to deliver.
  • You will already work in recruitment and have a personal billing track record.
  • Ideally you will be a senior Manager already if not you will have experience as Manager, Recruitment Manager, Senior Manager with in a recruitment consultancy.
  • You will already be working in London or looking to move to London.
