About Our Client

A large and expanding business services organisation based north of Slough

Job Description

Main duties and responsibilities include:

Preparation of monthly management accounts, variance analysis and commentaries

Support all month end processes ensuring that management accounts are accurate and completed in accordance with the timetable

Ensure regional teams are aware of significant variances from budget/forecast as they arise or are foreseen in order for appropriate action can be taken on a timely basis

Preparation of monthly accruals and prepayments

Monthly balance sheet reconciliations

Weekly reporting, including KPI's, revenue and cost reports

Fleet and engineering accruals and updating reporting schedules

Active participation in the preparation of annual budget and rolling forecasts

Assist in preparation of the half year and annual accounts, including supporting supporting schedules for tax calculations

Active participation in ad-hoc projects within the business

Maintain effective relations with the business

Timely preparation of monthly management accounts and board reports

Drive process improvements and control Provide commentary and analysis for significant variances from budget and forecast

The Successful Applicant

Advanced Excel

Excellent communication skills

Desire to manage/lead teams

Actively studying ACCA or CIMA at Part-qualified or Finalist level
