About Our Client

My client is based in Park Royal, near Wembley and need a senior credit controller to join their accountancy team asap!

Job Description

Key Responsibilities for Senior Credit Controller;

  • Full responsibility for the credit control function
  • Overseeing the junior credit controller.
  • Running credit checks and setting credit limits in line with policy.
  • Oversee preparation of weekly reminder letters and monthly statements
  • Preparation of monthly KPI reports on sales ledger including reporting Top 20 accounts, accounts on hold, bad debts and arrears
  • Large corporate account management including dealing with debit note queries, working with retail returns team to solve invoice queries and ensure payment
  • Managing liquidation papers, bad debt write offs and escalation of arrears to third part debt collection agency
  • Escalating customer issues as necessary.
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations and experience of dealing with invoice finance an advantage
  • Dealing with customers relating to large projects and ensuring approvals are correctly managed through their systems to ensure timely payments.

Able to demonstrate an ability to learn and deliver to deadlines

Ability to deliver collection targets and work in a high volume role

Prior background in a credit control/sales ledger focused finance assistant role

Experience gained in at least 2 companies

Personality that actively seeks and drives innovation and improvement

All candidates will be required to complete standardized intelligence assessment tests and personality profile

Good IT skills
