About Our Client

This role will be working at the head offices of a leading Retail company who are based in Westminster, South West London.

As the senior accounts payable, you will play a key role in the finance team by managing the purchase ledger and taking ownership of the purchase order system.

Job Description

Senior Accounts Payable:

  • Processing of invoices- matching, batching and coding
  • Reconciling Purchase Orders
  • Management of the PO system
  • Maintaining the purchase ledger
  • Supplier statement reconciliation
  • Reports
  • Purchase Order Spend
  • Dealing with internal and external queries

The Successful Applicant

We would like to speak with senior accounts payable clerks who have a proven track record for success in shared service centre environments or within retail/FMCG businesses.

you will be maintaining the PO database and purchase to pay.

  • 2 year minimum experience in a senior accounts payable role
  • Sage systems experience desirable
  • P2P experience desirable
  • Experience managing the purchase order system
  • Immediately available
  • Committed to a 6 month contract
  • Strong IT skills

What's on Offer

The successful candidate will start the role on an immediate basis paying £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience.
