About Our Client

Our client is based in Guildford and they are looking for a full time School Services Co-ordinator.

You will be working in partnership with senior officers to create, promote, administer and evaluate school effectiveness services and training programmes, ensuring the programme is engaging, accessible, financially viable and sharply focused on the needs of the school.

Job Description

  • To source, commission, communicate with and allocate /deploy external consultants, presenters and other services
  • To plan and collate an annual programme of support, training and development for schools
  • To assess the viability and affordability of courses and events
  • To pro-actively market and promote the programme of services and training, including designing and creating promotional flyers, with the aim of maximising the take up from schools
  • To communicate and act as the main point of contact with schools, presenters, consultants, link governors and presenters.
  • Manage all bookings for governor and teacher training courses, including booking venues, invoicing schools, paying presenters, and ensuring accurate financial records
  • To resource and facilitate training events, liaising with presenters beforehand, ensuring papers are distributed or available as necessary, and assist in the set-up of courses and events - before, during and after each event
  • Post-course administration, including retrieving and recording evaluations from presenters and delegates, to inform future service and training provision
  • To prepare the marketing and promote the annual education service level agreement, invoice schools, keep accurate financial records.
  • Be pro-active in developing new opportunities for services to schools in response to national and local need and feedback from evaluation
  • To undertake additional reasonable tasks as necessary

The Successful Applicant

Excellent communication skills are a must in this role.

You will also have had experience of managing or taking a lead role in organising events (from conception to completion) and have proven track record of administrative work with an exceptional eye for detail and accuracy.

My client are looking to appoint a new full time (9.00-5.00 Monday to Friday) School Services Co-ordinator.

The contract is permanent, working in school term time, plus two weeks (42 weeks per year)
